Dark Chocolate Bark with Candied Orange Peels & Nuts

Ingredients:
Candied orange
- 1/2 small orange peel cut into thin slices
- 1/2 tsp. stevia plus more for dipping
- 1 cup water
Chocolate bark
- 2 bars Hu Kitchen Simple Dark Chocolate
- 1-1/2 Tbsp. SunButter Natural Sunflower Butter
- 1/4 tsp. cardamom
- 1 Tbsp. almond slivers
- 1 Tbsp. pistachios
Instructions:
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a small pot, combine orange peel, stevia, and water; bring to a boil. Lower heat and cook for 20 minutes until peel is soft. Remove peels and let dry.
- In a medium pot over low heat, melt the chocolate.
- In a medium bowl, stir together sunflower seed butter and cardamom until well mixed. Stir this mixture into the melted chocolate.
- Pour the chocolate onto the prepared baking tray. Using a spoon, mold it into a heart shape.
- Dip the orange peels into stevia, then press the peels, pistachios, and almonds into the chocolate.
- Refrigerate for 20 minutes to set.
