Dark Chocolate Bark with Candied Orange Peels & Nuts - My Store

Ingredients:

Candied orange

  • 1/2 small orange peel cut into thin slices
  • 1/2 tsp. stevia plus more for dipping
  • 1 cup water

Chocolate bark

Instructions:

  1. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a small pot, combine orange peel, stevia, and water; bring to a boil. Lower heat and cook for 20 minutes until peel is soft. Remove peels and let dry.
  3. In a medium pot over low heat, melt the chocolate.
  4. In a medium bowl, stir together sunflower seed butter and cardamom until well mixed. Stir this mixture into the melted chocolate.
  5. Pour the chocolate onto the prepared baking tray. Using a spoon, mold it into a heart shape.
  6. Dip the orange peels into stevia, then press the peels, pistachios, and almonds into the chocolate.
  7. Refrigerate for 20 minutes to set.
