Almond milk

Almond milk - My Store

Makes: 4 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup raw almonds, soaked for 4 hours
  • 4 cups filtered water
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 seedless dates, optional (or use figs, 1 tablespoon honey, or maple syrup)
  • Pinch of sea salt

Steps:

  1. Pop the almonds out of their skins after soaking and add to a blender with all the other ingredients.
  2. Blend until a smooth consistency is achieved.
  3. Strain the almond milk with a cheesecloth to remove any lumps.
  4. Drink or place in the fridge for up to 7 days.
