Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together breadcrumbs, plant-based milk, egg, garlic, salt, black pepper, white pepper, oregano, and parsley. Let milk soak into breadcrumbs for 10 minutes.
  2. Add onion, beef, and sunflower seed butter. Mix well. Roll mixture into about 20 evenly-sized balls.
  3. In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and half the coconut oil. Fry meatballs in batches to fit the pan until browned and cooked through.
  4. To make gravy, whisk together coconut oil and flour until dissolved. Stir in vegetable broth, plant-based milk, liquid aminos, and Dijon mustard. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer until thickened.
  5. Serve meatballs topped with gravy and garnish with fresh parsley.
