Sinus Relief Tea

Serves:

Ingredients:
24 ounces of boiled water
1 tablespoon raw honey
2 garlic cloves, crushed or minced
2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon of peppermint
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (powder)
½ teaspoon turmeric

Directions:
Add all ingredients to a tea press with boiled water, let steep for 5 minutes, and drink. Let the steam rise into your face while drinking to enjoy the healing vapors.

Why is this recipe effective with Sinus Infections?

Peppermint 
Anti-inflammatory properties soothe the mucus membranes, while the menthol helps clear the passageway.

Apple Cider Vinegar
Helps thin the mucus, allowing it to clear out more easily.

Cayenne Pepper 
Capsaicin, the active component in cayenne, is anti-inflammatory, offers pain relief, and helps clear nasal congestion.

Raw Garlic  
Amazingly powerful natural antibiotic.

Turmeric 
Curcumin, the active ingredient, has powerful anti-inflammatory properties, which help clear blocked sinuses and nasal congestion. Turmeric also has antibiotic & antiviral effects.

Raw Honey
Helps kill the bacteria that cause sinus infections.
