Chocolate Chip Nut Ice Cream (Raw and Vegan)

Total making time: 15 minutes and then 7 hours + freezing

Serves: 2 people
Makes 3 cups of ice cream, or 8oz (obviously double the recipe if you want more!)

Ingredients:
2 cup of nuts soaked for 4 hours (For example macadamia nuts, walnuts, cashews, almonds)
Use hemp seeds or sunflower seeds as nut alternative
2 cups of water
1 cup of maple syrup or raw honey (more if you like it sweeter)
2 tablespoons of cacao powder (more if you like darker chocolate)
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract (optional)
1/2 teaspoon of himalayan salt

TIP: If you have an ice cream maker, make it in that! If not it helps to have a super high speed blender like the VITAMIX to get the smoothest creamiest ice cream.

Action:
1. In a high speed blender or ice cream maker add all the ingredients. Once smooth creamy consistency achieved place it in a tub in the freezer. 
2. Freeze for at least 7 hours, overnight or until frozen! 
3. Serve with nuts like walnuts, drizzle honey or maple syrup over it and add cacao nibs for ‘chocolate chip crunch!’
